Assignment of Proceeds Request

The Assignment of Proceeds Request is a request by the beneficiary to the negotiating bank to pay a portion or all of the Credit to a third party, if and when documents are presented and found to be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the Letter of Credit.  The designated third party does not obtain any interest in the Letter of Credit by its involvement in the Assignment.

eAssignment of Proceeds Request Trade Function

The eAssignment of Proceeds Request (LAOPR) is the electronic document equivalent of the Assignment of Proceeds Request.  It is created by the seller and is used for electronic presentation to the seller’s advising bank.
